LADIES FAST: MARCH 11 DAY 3
THE BLESSING by Brenda Y
Scripture: Isaiah 62:2, Isaiah 43:19, Isaiah 62:4
Though the seasons may have seemed long and My tarrying felt never-ending, amid the waiting you found Me, and you found yourself in Me .“Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” (Habakkuk 2:3) And now, it is time. Take My hand and let Me walk you into the blessing I have been preparing. For I am shifting the season, and a new name shall be yours. (Isaiah 62:2)
Be still as I hold your hand and order your steps into the new place. “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:19). Know that I am God—your God. As we walk things will begin to make sense. But never mind the former things, look ahead and see all that I have prepared for you.
Let this season be your testimony. Go and tell others what I have done. Let it encourage them and lift their hearts. For it is only a matter of time before they walk into their blessing.
My glory will be seen upon you, and My favor shall follow you from now on. What once felt hidden will now be evident. What once felt delayed will now speak for itself.
Glory to glory is your destiny and you shall no longer be known as desolate…. You will no longer carry the name of what you endured. You shall now be called blessed, for I delight in you and My hand rests upon you (Isaiah 62:4).
Questions:
1. What “new” season or blessing are you trusting God to lead you into?
2. How have the seasons of waiting or growth shaped your identity in Christ?
Prayer: Lord, thank You that Your Word never comes back void. Thank You for seasons of growing and learning.
hank You that in the waiting I found my identity in You, and I found my first love. And I realize that You are my first love.
A love like Yours cannot be compared, but it can be reflected as long as we stay rooted in You and in Your truth.
Lead me as I step into the new. Lord, I surrender it all and continue to order my steps. Let everything I do glorify You. Let the new glorify You, and let it all be submitted to You. Amen!
LADIES FAST: MARCH 10 DAY 2
The Preparation by Brenda Y
Scripture: 1Samuel 16:7 , Psalm 51:10, Romans 12:2
You look at yourself in the mirror every morning. Who do you see? The person made in the likeness of God, or do you see only the person shaped by life, experiences, and expectations?
You present yourself before the world in clothing, perfumes, and jewels that enhance your beauty. There is an expectation for how you should look when you walk into a room. The world admires your outer beauty, but there is no spiritual x-ray to examine your inner state.
You make sure you are presentable on the outside, but have you stopped to ask if your heart and spirit is presentable too? Scripture reminds you that man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7
Your destiny requires a version of yourself that is prepared to walk into a new chapter. The person who has healed from pain, trauma, and brokenness and has found their identity in Christ. Our identity outside of Christ has mastered the ability to bury these areas and silence their cries. Little do we know, they are waiting for the right moment to burst out and hurt again.
God desires to prepare us from the inside out. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10. Before we step into what is next, He invites us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Romans 12:2.
The mirror may reflect who you have been, but God is preparing you for who you are becoming. The question is not only whether you are dressed for the next season, but whether your heart and spirit are ready to walk in it.
1) Have you asked the Lord to search your heart?
2) If you stand in front of a spiritual x-ray what will it reveal about your heart/spirit?
Have you healed from these areas (hurt, pain, trauma, unforgiveness etc...)?
3) Are you prepared to walk into the blessing God has for you?
· Yes? Why:
· No? What do you need to work on?
PRAYER: Lord, search my heart. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Reveal the hidden hurts and pain that I have buried deep in my soul. Give me the strength to break the ties between me and that event.
Prepare my heart to forgive where it is needed. Be my comforter during this time of healing.
May I become the Child of God I need to be to walk in alignment with You and the will You have for my life.
Prepare me for the next door, Lord. May I not enter it with unhealed baggage, but enter as a new creation in Christ, transformed and with a renewed mind.
LADIES FAST: MARCH 9 DAY 1
My Desires By Brenda V
Scripture: Psalm 37:4; Psalm 38:9; Psalm 145:19
It is part of our human nature to have desires. Whether that desire is for more money, marriage, or becoming a parent – (fill in your blank). There is often an area in our lives we long for but do not yet have.
Many times, we pray and ask the Lord to remove these desires from our hearts. We beg Him to take them away, only to find that they are still there. They did not magically disappear.
We are reminded that God is very much aware of our longings. “Lord, all my desire is before You; and my sighing is not hidden from You” (Psalm 38:9).
Could it be that God placed that desire there? Or could it be that the heart has become so focused on what is wanted that it struggles to let go, missing what God desires to give instead? “For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13).
Let your desires be an invitation to trust, surrender, and align with God’s purpose. The real question is not whether God sees your desire, but whether you trust Him enough to surrender it, believing that His best is greater than what you imagined.
Think about desires of your heart, those you’ve been praying and fasting for and write them down:
1)
2)
3)
Do these desires align with the will of God for your life?
1) Yes.
2) No.
3) I’m not sure…
How do, can or will these desires glorify God?
Prayer: Lord, all my desires are before You, and my sighing is not hidden from You. My desires are brought before You in surrender, not in demand. Show me Your will for my life. Reveal whether any desire is being held onto out of my own will rather than Yours.
Help me let go of what is not from You and teach me to hope in the things of the Lord. Align my heart with Your will for my life - - even if it hurts for a little while.
Today and moving forward, I’m choosing to trust in you and believe what you have for me is nothing short of the best. Not my will, Lord, but yours be done. Amen.
